MONDAY WORKSHOPS IN JUNE
Weekly performance workshops on Monday evenings covered audition technique, acting for silent movies and melodrama, The Spirit of Irish Dance, and excerpts from 'A Little Shop Of Horrors', choreographed excerpts from A Chorus Line, Clowning and Mime, and Acting for Camera.
All workshops are with professional performers who have West End experience and teach at the best London Drama Academies.
Celebrity Masterclasses
GAVIN LEE - currently starring as Bert (The Dick Van Dyke part in the film!) in the award winning Show MARY POPPINS on Broadway after a hugely successful 2 year run in the West End- took our most recent CELEBRITY MASTERCLASS. Gavin is one of this country's most exciting 'song and dance' stars in the tradition of Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly, having had a major success with Singing in The Rain, amongst many other impressive credits as a Leading Man.

JENNA RUSSELL CELEBRITY MASTERCLASS 2004 West End and TV actress Jenna Russelljenna_russell.html (BORN AND BRED), who recently starred in the celebrated show GUYS AND DOLLS at the Piccadilly Theatre in the West End with Ewan McGregor gave a very informative, inspiring and entertaining 3 hour masterclass in our 2004 Summer School. She enthralled the public and students alike with her hilarious anecdotes about her life as a working actress in West End Musicals, TV dramas and extensive work with The Royal Shakespeare and National Theatre Companies. The 6 chosen students were treated to an inspirational session whereby Jenna managed to get the very best from the talented singers and actors. Please see student feedback.
LEIGH ZIMMERMAN CELEBRITY MASTERCLASS 2003 Leigh Zimmerman leigh_zimmerman.html who recently starred in the hit West End show The Producers shared her career and life experiences in both the USA and the UK in a truly entertaining way, which successfully communicated a professional and realistic approach to a career in all areas of show business. She was genuinely generous with her advice, and gave an incredibly inspiring afternoon of coaching on all aspects of acting through song. All the members of the Summer School were positively bubbling with enthusiasm after her visit! See student feedback.
